Soft products for everyday life and special moments

Luno Design is a Finnish company based in Varkaus, creating products that combine practicality, beautiful design and the joy of making things by hand.

We create soft, high-quality products mainly from waffle fabric. What started as a collection of children's bath products has grown into a versatile waffle collection for the whole family, with products for the bathroom, sauna, home and leisure time.

Designed and made in Finland

For us, being Finnish-made is more than just a phrase – it is part of everything we do. Our products are designed and made in Finland, with the aim of creating products that are made to last and feel good in everyday life.

We design our products ourselves and make each one with care. We also aim to find new uses for materials left over from production. For example, fabric offcuts from making our waffle products are turned into new products, such as wash mitts. This way, we can make the most of every piece of good-quality material.

A small business with a big heart

At Luno Design, we believe the best products are created by thinking about real life. A product should be beautiful, but above all, it should work.

We want to create products that are a joy to use day after day – whether it is a child's first bathrobe, a soft wash mitt, a sauna essential or a beautiful textile for your home.

To us, every product is more than just a product. It is a piece of Finnish craftsmanship, thoughtful design and sewing, made with a big heart.

Our locations

The Luno Design store is located in Varkaus. In 2025, we opened our own store on Savontie, where you can also explore our products in person by appointment.

Our second sewing studio is located near Kouvola, where pattern making and grading primarily take place. Our fabrics and sewing supplies are sourced from a Finnish wholesaler, and the products are sourced from EU countries.
