Luno Design – Online Store Terms of Use and Terms of Sale

These Terms & Conditions apply to orders placed through the Luno Design online store. Please read these terms carefully before placing an order.

Luno Design is a Finnish company based in Varkaus, designing and manufacturing soft products made from waffle fabric. Our products are designed and made in Finland.

2. Products

The online store offers products designed and manufactured by Luno Design, including home textiles as well as bath and sauna products for adults and children.

Product features, materials, sizes, colours and prices are stated in connection with each product.

Textile products may have small individual variations, for example in colour, texture and sizing. These are typical characteristics of handmade products and do not, as a rule, constitute a defect.

Product images are intended to provide as accurate a representation of the products as possible. However, screen settings may affect how colours appear on different devices.

3. Prices

All prices are stated in euros in the online store.

The applicable price is the price displayed in the online store at the time the order is placed.

Any applicable delivery charges will be shown to the customer before the order is confirmed.

Luno Design reserves the right to change prices. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

4. Ordering

Customers can place an order through the online store by selecting the products they wish to purchase and following the store's ordering process.

Before confirming the order, the customer must check the order details, delivery information, price and delivery charges.

An order is confirmed when the customer accepts the order and the associated payment obligation.

After placing an order, the customer will receive an order confirmation by email to the address provided.

Luno Design reserves the right not to accept an order in exceptional circumstances, such as a technical error in the online store, an obvious pricing error or a product availability issue. The customer will be informed of such circumstances as soon as possible.

5. Payment

The payment methods available in the online store and any applicable fees are displayed during the ordering process.

Payments are processed through the payment service provider used by the online store.

Luno Design does not store customers' payment card details. Payments are processed through the systems of the applicable payment service provider.

6. Delivery

Orders are delivered within Finland using the delivery methods available and displayed in the online store during the ordering process.

The estimated delivery time is stated in the online store or in the order confirmation.

Luno Design aims to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible. The delivery time for handmade or made-to-order products may differ from the delivery time for products in stock.

If there is a significant delay in delivery, the customer will be informed as soon as possible.

7. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.

The withdrawal period for goods begins when the customer or a person designated by the customer receives the order or the final part of the order. The right of withdrawal may also be exercised before the product has been received.

The customer must notify Luno Design of the withdrawal clearly and unambiguously within 14 days of receiving the product.

Simply returning the product or failing to collect the parcel does not constitute a withdrawal notification.

Luno Design also provides the legally required online withdrawal function through which an order placed online can be cancelled.

8. Returning Products

After notifying Luno Design of the withdrawal, the product must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notification was made.

The returned product should be in essentially the same condition as when received. However, the customer is entitled to examine and try the product to the extent necessary to establish its characteristics and functionality.

If the product has been handled more extensively than necessary to establish its characteristics and functionality, the customer may be liable for any reduction in the product's value.

9. Refunds

In the event of a withdrawal, Luno Design will refund all payments received from the customer without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notification.

Luno Design is entitled to withhold the refund until the returned product has been received or the customer has provided evidence that the product has been sent back.

The refund will primarily be made using the same payment method that the customer used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

10. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Not all products may be subject to a right of withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal may not apply, for example, to products that are made or modified according to the customer's personal specifications or clearly personalised requirements.

If an exception to the right of withdrawal applies to a product, the customer will be informed before placing the order.

Luno Design does not restrict the consumer's statutory right of withdrawal except on grounds provided for by law.

11. Defective Products and Complaints

Luno Design is responsible for defects in products in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

If a product received by the customer is defective, the customer should contact Luno Design as soon as possible.

When making a complaint, it is recommended to include:

• Order number

• Product name

• Description of the defect

• Where possible, photographs of the product and the defect

Reporting a defect as soon as possible helps us resolve the matter efficiently.

12. Damaged Deliveries

If a parcel has been damaged during transport, the customer should notify Luno Design as soon as possible.

Where possible, please take photographs of both the packaging and the damaged product.

Luno Design will investigate the matter together with the carrier and ensure that the customer's statutory rights are upheld.

14. Processing of Personal Data

Personal data collected in connection with an order is processed for the purpose of handling orders, delivering products, providing customer service and fulfilling statutory obligations.

15. Copyright

The content of the online store, including texts, images, product information, graphics, logos and other materials, is the property of Luno Design or its partners unless otherwise stated.

The content of the online store may not be copied, modified, published or used for commercial purposes without the prior written permission of Luno Design.

16. Limitation of Liability

Luno Design aims to keep the information in the online store accurate and up to date.

However, the online store may occasionally contain technical errors, interruptions, or typographical and pricing errors. Luno Design will endeavour to correct any identified errors as soon as possible.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights granted to consumers by applicable law.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Finnish law.

Any disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiations between the customer and Luno Design.

Consumers also have the right to refer a matter to the appropriate consumer dispute resolution body in accordance with applicable legislation.

18. Changes to the Terms & Conditions

Luno Design may update these Terms & Conditions, for example, due to changes in the operation of the online store, products, payment methods or legislation.

The Terms & Conditions applicable to an order are those in force at the time the order was placed.
